We’re excited to read the Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures (TISFD)’s new report – “People in Scope”.
The report is an overview of the proposed scope, approach, governance structure and work plan of the TISFD, whose goal is to guide businesses to make disclosures about social issues in the same way they currently disclose on climate-related issues, and increasingly, nature-related issues.
The need for a TISFD reflects the increasing global focus on the social pillar of sustainability. With inequality on the rise and billions of people world-wide continuing to experience very poor quality of life, the calls for a socially just transition towards a more sustainable economic model are loudly made.
Socially-related disclosures are the “new frontier” for mandatory ESG reporting topics. Businesses need to identify their social impact hotspots, and plan for the uptake of socially positive change within their own organisation, and across their value-chain.
At Zooss, we’re pioneering Sustainable Business Planning (SBP) – a powerful approach to integrating environmental and social data into your day-to-day planning activities. This could be about gender pay-gap analysis, vicarious modern slavery employment through company expenditure, or employee engagement.
We can help you prepare for socially-related reporting, and empower your organisation to plan for a more socially sustainable future.
